Disability Support Worker (DDSO1 / 1Q) – Hamilton (Casual)

Role located in Hamilton. Comfortable working with people with various disabilities, with a family and person-centred approach that supports inclusion and participation.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to clients in line with individual care plans, promoting belonging and participation.
- Build and manage friendly relationships within a team environment.
- Apply critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making in daily support tasks.
- Be available to work across multiple sites and shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and active nights.
- Support clients who may exhibit behaviors of concern with appropriate strategies and de‑escalation techniques.
- Hold a current driver’s license where required by the role.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification(s).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children’s Check (Employee).
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Australian Working Rights and, if applicable, an International Police Check for overseas work or residence within the last ten years.
