Hays has partnered up with a large Brisbane enterprise-level organisation which is undergoing massive transformation. This company is looking for an SAP HCM Solution Architect who will work closely with other team members on their Modern ERP Program.
Your new role
In your new role as SAP S/4HANA Human Capital Management (HCM) Solution Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of the technical and functional architecture for the Modern ERP Program, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and program objectives across HCM and Payroll. You'll collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to guide solution architecture, integration, and data strategies, while maintaining scalability and technical integrity. Your responsibilities will include planning and securing endorsement of solution approaches and artefacts from architectural peers, overseeing the development and review of solution specifications and technical deliverables, and supporting key ICT service procurement activities. With a keen eye for quality and a strategic mindset, you'll engage with vendors to assess solutions, liaise with stakeholders to align business and technical requirements, and contribute to the delivery of a sustainable and high-performing ERP platform.
What you'll need to succeed
* 10+ years in SAP, with deep expertise in S/4HANA HR, Payroll, Time, and Leave modules
* Proven experience in full end-to-end HCM migration programs and solution architecture
* Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies within SAP HCM
* Skilled in data migration, BTP extensibility, and cloud ERP deployments
* Experience integrating SAP Cloud Platform with Azure, AWS, and other technologies
* Ability to lead cross-functional solution design and stakeholder engagement
* Excellent presentation skills, translating complex technical info for diverse audiences
* Strong understanding of legacy constraints and compliance requirements
* Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate across business and technical teams
