About The Role
As a Senior Integration Engineer supporting the JP9101 program, you will play a pivotal role in leading system‐level Integration and Test activities for the upgraded Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS).
You will oversee the planning, design, execution and reporting of integration activities, ensuring system performance, interoperability and readiness are validated prior to transition to Acceptance Test phases.
Working across a range of test environments, including the Production Integration Test Laboratory (PITL), System Integration and Test Laboratory (SITL), Commonwealth test environments and operational EDHFCS sites, you will guide integration strategies and resolve complex technical issues across the engineering lifecycle.
Additionally, you will provide authoritative technical advice, contribute to engineering process improvement, and mentor engineers within the team.
About You
You are an experienced systems or integration engineer who thrives in complex technical environments and brings strong analytical capability, sound engineering judgement and a collaborative mindset. With the proven ability to lead technical investigations, you will develop and review engineering documentation, and deliver integration and test activities that meet demanding requirements for quality, schedule and cost. Your expertise enables you to assess multi‐domain technical risks, apply relevant standards and engineering principles, and make informed decisions that support program success. In addition to your technical depth, you take pride in mentoring others, sharing knowledge and continuously improving engineering processes and practices.
