About The Role
As a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you'll provide expert clinical services across both obstetrics and gynaecology, while contributing to teaching, training, and research. You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary department that delivers high-quality, patient‐centred care and plays a vital role in supporting the local community.
Your Responsibilities
* Providing specialist O&G services across inpatient and outpatient settings
* Leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team
* Supporting and mentoring registrars, junior doctors, and medical students
* Actively participating in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research initiatives
* Contributing to professional education and continuous development within the department
Expressions of interest for Head of Unit will also be considered.

The Obstetrics & Gynaecology unit provides comprehensive maternity and women's health services for the region, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, alongside a broad range of gynaecological services. About You
* MBBS or equivalent, plus FRANZCOG (or eligible)
* Demonstrated experience across both obstetrics and gynaecology
