At Altrad, your growth fuels our success.

We are a trusted provider of specialist construction, maintenance, and integrated industrial solutions across Australia, partnering with major clients in energy, resources, utilities, and defence.

We go beyond building and maintaining assets, we create Impact that Matters. Every day, our people contribute to safer workplaces, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.

As part of the global Altrad Group, with over 65,000 people across 50+ countries, you'll join a network that's connected by purpose, driven by innovation, and united by our shared values of Solidarity, Respect, Humility, Conviviality, and Courage.

About the opportunity

Altrad has multiple P6 Planner/Scheduler opportunities available across our business, spanning both local construction projects and an 8&6 FIFO roster — giving you the flexibility to find a role that fits your lifestyle and career stage.

Whether you're an emerging planner building on a couple of years' experience or a seasoned scheduler with a decade or more under your belt, we want to hear from you. We're growing our planning capability across multiple levels, and we're committed to placing the right people in the right roles — with room to develop and progress within the Altrad business.

Across these positions, you'll play a critical part in shaping how projects are planned, tracked, and delivered — providing clear visibility of progress, performance, and productivity across both Altrad and client project teams. These are key positions within complex, high-performing project environments where accurate planning and scheduling directly influences commercial outcomes, operational efficiency, and delivery certainty.

You'll be working at the centre of project activity — connecting site execution with broader project strategy to ensure work is sequenced effectively, risks are understood early, and decisions are made with confidence.

In these roles you will:

* Play a key role in the development, maintenance and delivery of project schedules, including Annual Execution Plans and integrated master schedules using Primavera P6.
* Work closely with Site Leadership, Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Supervisors to sequence, prioritise and optimise Scopes of Work, including non-routine and shutdown activities.
* Monitor and analyse project performance, tracking progress, productivity, earned value, installation norms, manning levels and critical path activities, and providing actionable insights.
* Prepare and deliver accurate, timely reporting and dashboards (daily through annual), consolidating inputs across HSE, Quality, Commercial and Operations functions.
* Support strong commercial and cost control outcomes by managing labour hours, forecasting, budget alignment, installed quantities and utilisation of materials and equipment.
* Build effective client and stakeholder relationships, communicating regularly with client representatives, promoting safety-first execution, and contributing to continuous improvement across Altrad's project management systems.

Whether you're leading on-site delivery or supporting strategic planning from head office, this is an opportunity to grow your career, enhance your expertise, and contribute to projects that make a real difference - all within an organisation that's serious about supporting your success.

About you

You're a driven planner who works well with teams, adapts to change, and consistently delivers meaningful results.

You bring with you:

* Minimum 5+ years, proven experience as a Scheduler / Planner across major projects with demonstrated exposure to the mining and shutdown environment.
* Background in mining and/or construction sectors, with site-based experience supporting estimation, planning and execution of remediation and maintenance scopes.
* Strong technical planning capability, including the ability to develop multi-discipline, resource-levelled schedules in Primavera P6, aligned to project deadlines and delivery requirements.
* Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail, advanced reporting capability, and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, with experience preparing clear, accurate project reports and narratives.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within multi-cultural teams and across both on‐site and off‐site environments.
