St Patrick's Community Support Centre (St Pat's) is seeking a Team Leader – Engagement Hub to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Engagement Hub, ensuring safe, inclusive and high quality services for people who need it most.
About the Role
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will coordinate daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure the Engagement Hub runs effectively and safely. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for clients while supporting staff, volunteers, and visiting services to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team
* Provide supervision, training, and performance support
* Manage rosters for staff, volunteers, and students
* Facilitate team meetings and contribute to a positive team culture
Operations & Service Delivery
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Engagement Hub
* Ensure services meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability
* Lead de‐escalation and respond to complex situations
* Support the delivery of programs that promote wellbeing and engagement
Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the key point of contact for visiting services and partners
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Participate in relevant network meetings and community engagement
Compliance & Administration
* Ensure compliance with WHS, Safe Food Handling, and relevant legislation
* Oversee incident reporting and continuous improvement processes
* Maintain accurate records, reporting, and data entry
* Monitor budgets and support financial record‐keeping
About You
You are a confident and compassionate leader with experience working in community services and supporting people with complex needs.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working with people experiencing homelessness or complex disadvantage
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast‐paced environment
* Sound administrative and organisational skills
* Cultural awareness and an understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
* A strong commitment to St Pat's values and client‐centred approach
