**Service Manager - IT Operations**
Redlands City Council are actively working towards their "city vision" through the implementation of their new corporate plan. As part of this plan, Redlands City Council's IT department are going through a number of exciting transformations and changes to enhance the local economy, services, environment and the experience of residents and visitors. As such, Redlands are actively looking for a Service Manager - IT Operations.

**About the Position**
The Service Manager - IT Operations is accountable for the operations and maintenance of Council's cloud and on premise environments, infrastructure, networks, server, communications, storage and database components, along with the provision of Level 2 technical support services. As part of this accountability, the role is responsible for establishing leading practice IT operations capabilities whilst supporting Council's transition to the cloud, rollout of the City Fibre Network and expansion of the CCTV network.
As a key member of the Information Management Leadership Team, the Service Manager supports the Chief Information Officer and the wider Information Management Unit, through provision of specialist advice, guidance, deliverables and process improvement relating to IT operations.
**About You**
As a skilled IT Operations Manager, you will be able to demonstrate the following key criteria
- Lead and manage the IT Operations area within Information Management responsible for technical support, infrastructure and communications, server and storage, database management and related services.
- Ensure the IT Operations functions collaborate openly and effectively with the other IT workstreams to ensure streamlined end-to-end service delivery to customers.
- Ensure appropriate IT Operations frameworks and processes are in place to support the efficient and effective delivery of operations services by aligning with proven frameworks and processes (eg. ITIL).
- Build and develop a high performing team that is customer-centric, solution focused and collaborates openly with other IT workstreams and the business. Promote a culture focused on continuous improvement, championing professional standards, innovation, and high performance
- Contribute to the development and annual update of 10-year capital and operating plans for IT.
