Your Day‐to‐Day Responsibilities
* Assist in daily store operations to keep the branch running smoothly.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships via phone and email, addressing product, pricing, order, stock, delivery, and account queries.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments to deliver excellent service.
* Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods.
* Support inventory management and stock handling as required.
* Assist in local deliveries to customers.
This is a hands‐on role that requires physical manual handling and heavy lifting for preparing customer orders for dispatch as well as receipting and arranging storage of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in customer service, warehouse, or a similar environment is desirable.
* A valid Driver's License is essential.
* Forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory.
* Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organised workplace.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.
* Strong customer service ethics and natural problem‐solving abilities.
* Experience in industrial hose, hydraulics, or a similar industrial background (desirable).
Qualifications
You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
