Senior Manager, Risk Insights and Governance: turn complex, bank-wide risk data into clear, outcome‐focused insight that drives decision making at the most senior levels. Responsible for developing the Bank's core risk reporting outputs, including the Chief Risk Officer report and the Enterprise risk view presented to senior executive and Board committees.
Responsibilities
* Lead the secretariat function for the RMC, ensuring smooth governance cycle and high quality committee outputs.
* Own design, quality and narrative of the bank‐wide risk reporting suite.
* Set standard, shape narrative and hold quality across the full reporting cycle.
* Act as Business System Owner for Protecht ERM, set strategic direction and roadmap.
* Lead and develop a high‐performing team, set expectations, build capability and foster growth.
* Coordinate contributions from peer functions, maintaining quality standards and credibility.
* Maintain governance presence and judgment in senior governance settings.
* Provide technology and data literacy to direct people, prioritise decisions and engage with technical teams.
* Oversee product owner responsible for platform.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in risk insight and analytical capability; delivered CRO or board‐level risk reporting.
* Ability to synthesise inputs from multiple sources into a coherent narrative and differentiate between data compilation and genuine insight.
* Strong leadership through influence without direct authority, credible communication of expectations.
* Deep understanding of Line 2 mandate; independent oversight, challenge and assurance.
* Governance presence and judgment in senior governance settings; experienced with ExCo, ARC or similar.
* Tech and data literacy; ability to make sound investment and prioritisation decisions and engage a technically capable team.
* Proven track record in building people, creating clear expectations, and investing in growth of individuals at various career stages.
