About the role
Calvary Hospital Riverina are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist of General Surgery to join our growing perioperative team. This position is a full time Monday to Friday role, with some on call expectations.
Your main duties will include:
* To assist in leading and educating in the perioperative environment
* Collaboration with Medical Officers, Managers and Clinical staff
* Assisting with procurement and management of stock for specialty
* Adhering to national, perioperative and infection control standards
About you
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Strong experience and knowledge in General Surgery and the Perioperative environment
* Demonstrated teamwork, communication and collaboration skills
* Strong understanding of perioperative and infection control standards
* Post graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing (desired)
