Join our garden heroes! LOVE THE OUTDOORS? HAVE A GREEN THUMB OR JUST A LOVE FOR DIGGING IN THE DIRT? WANT TO BRIGHTEN SOMEONE'S DAY AND THEIR GARDEN?
Join People Who Care and help our elderly clients enjoy safe, tidy, and welcoming outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
* Light gardening duties such as weeding, pruning, raking, and general clean‐up
* Assist in maintaining safe outdoor areas for elderly clients
* Work as part of a friendly, supportive team
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm (flexible around your availability).
Qualifications
* Anyone who loves fresh air, physical activity, and helping others
* Gardeners of all experience levels (training provided)
* Community‐mindful people ready to make a real difference
Commitment
Regular – more than 6 months.
Other Details
Training is provided and volunteers are accompanied by staff.
People Who Care has been serving the community for over 40 years, supporting older Australians, people living with disabilities, and those rebuilding after hardship.
