Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of maintenance activities and driving performance through efficient maintenance processes.As an Electrical Trade Mineworker at Ulan Underground Mine, you will demonstrate technical proficiency through effective maintenance and fault-finding work on electrical systems.

You will be part of a dynamic high performing team using the most advanced technology available to achieve the highest possible operating standards efficiently and safely.Responsibilities of the role include:Safely and effectively operate/maintain electrical systems relevant to underground mining operationsMaintain equipment in line with OEM, industry and site standardsManage risks associated with maintenance activitiesCarry out planned maintenance activities and compliance monitoringAttend to breakdowns and apply suitable fault-finding strategiesIdentify, manage and communicate risks effectivelyWork with maintenance and production teams to achieve safety and performance outcomesThe ideal candidate has the following skills and experiences:Electrical Trade QualificationExperience in underground coal mining or working with heavy machinerySound understanding of risk management processes and safe work proceduresAbility to work both in a team and autonomously as requiredSelf-motivated with a strong safety focusMake the move to Mudgee and benefit from:Regional Allowance of up to $9,000 (role specific)Remote area housing assistanceEducation AssistanceState of the art Sporting ComplexLively community, with markets, music and festivalsAbout MudgeeMudgee is known for its friendly and relaxed lifestyle, idyllic scenery and abundance of wineries and cafes.
