RMS Engineering & Construction has an exciting opportunity for experienced Project Engineers to join their Civil Works teams in Townsville and surrounding regions within North Queensland.
This role involves operating autonomously with minimal supervision, requiring a minimum of 5 years experience. Local Government projects and specifications are desired but not mandatory.
As a Project Engineer, you will assist the Project Manager in driving systems for project management and provide leadership to team members across health, safety, environmental, quality, and financial aspects.
* Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed for construction projects.
* Assist with planning methods and procedures and coordinate labour and material supply for site works.
* Consult with architects, engineers, or technical personnel to ensure design requirements are met for building projects.
* Formulate and maintain detailed programs for site works and personnel coordination.
* Record variations from design drawings or specifications for client submission.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in project engineering is required.
* Experience with Local Government projects and specifications is desired but not mandatory.
