Joining our team in Mildura, as the Team Leader your primary objective is to lead the Accounts Payable team to deliver high quality, efficient and accurate financial, management and statutory reporting services. You will oversee that the accounts payable process is accurate and completed in a timely manner. This is a dynamic role that will have you working with teams across Australia, making it an exciting and rewarding opportunity.
Please note that this position is on‐site from Monday to Friday.

Primary Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Accounts Payable team
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively among team members
* Conduct regular continuous improvement meetings with the team
* Conduct training of new and existing staff
* Assist in recruitment of new Accounts Payable team members
* Oversee the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
* Accurately process supplier invoices
* Manage the resolution of discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date financial records related to accounts payable
* Prepare and review AP reports
* Ensure timely and accurate month‐end and year‐end close processes for AP
* Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits
* Develop and implement internal controls to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the AP function
* Monitor and improve compliance with purchase order policies and procedures
* Develop and document standard operating procedures for the AP team
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent eye for detail - accurate record management maintenance
* Excellent computer skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and/or direction
* Experience in leading a team
