Diagnostic Audiologist Position Overview
As a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-level audiological diagnosis and management to adults and children referred to our service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive audiological assessments and interventions to patients of all ages, including infants and children with complex hearing needs.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Manage day-to-day operations of the Audiology component of our Cochlear Implant Program and Newborn Hearing Screening Program, ensuring seamless delivery of services to patients and families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Broad knowledge and expertise in paediatric audiological assessment, management and rehabilitation, including infant diagnostic assessments.
* Proven experience in fitting and monitoring amplification and assistive hearing technology, including Cochlear Implants.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and initiative, managing a complex caseload without supervision.

Eligibility
* Completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for full membership of Audiology Australia.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* Registration/licences that remain current and valid at all times.
