About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you'll directly assist clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required
* Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
* Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
* Basic wound care and self medicationDomestic support (meal preparation, household duties and laundry)
* Community access (driving to appointments and social activities)
About You
* Are excellent listeners and communicate authentically
* Can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
* Hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle
* Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
* Are experienced in the field, and/or hold relevant qualifications.
