IMS Workforce is partnering with a leading global mineral processing and manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Contractor Coordinator for its major industrial processing operation in Kwinana.
This is a hands‐on coordination role responsible for managing scaffold, insulation, mechanical and maintenance contractors across a busy operational plant environment. Working closely with Maintenance, Operations and Shutdown teams, you will ensure contractor activities are safely planned, executed and documented while maintaining compliance with site standards and maintenance systems.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor, Scaffolding Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator or Contractor Management professional looking to step into a broader site coordination role.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent you will act as the key interface between site stakeholders and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate scaffold and maintenance contractor activities across site
* Review work scopes, schedules and contractor resource plans
* Raise and manage work orders within SAP
* Monitor contractor performance, productivity and safety compliance
* Support shutdown and maintenance execution activities
* Participate in planning meetings and daily coordination activities
* Ensure permits, isolations and site procedures are adhered to
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
* Previous scaffolding trade background or significant scaffolding supervision experience
* Experience coordinating contractors within heavy industry, mining, processing, chemical, oil & gas or manufacturing environments
* Strong understanding of contractor management and compliance requirements; SAP experience, ideally within maintenance planning or work management systems
* Ability to interpret maintenance work scopes and schedules
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Sound understanding of safety management systems and permit-to-work processes
