We are seeking a dedicatedCookto join our team within our vibrant Sinnamon Park community. Working closely with the Chef, you will play a key role in creating high quality, nutritious, and enjoyable meals that enhance the wellbeing of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and providing excellent service in a supportive, people-focused environment.
This is apermanent part-time opportunity, approximately8-9 days a fortnight, including weekend shifts every other week.
You will:
* Assist the Chef with menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery, ensuring quality, presentation, and cost control standards are met
* Prepare, cook, and serve meals in line with dietary, nutritional, and cultural requirements of residents
* Support kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, stock control, and use of procurement systems
* Maintain food safety standards, compliance, and accurate documentation of Food Safety Program requirements
* Provide guidance and support to kitchen team members, overseeing operations when the Chef is unavailable
* Ensure a clean, safe, and well‐organised kitchen environment, including adherence to WHS and hygiene standards

We're looking for a reliable and team‐oriented Cook who brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality food and service. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible, with a strong customer service focus, and will thrive in a collaborative environment where they can remain calm under pressure and contribute to a supportive team culture. The successful candidate must be able to work weekends.
You'll also bring:
* 2yr+ experience in a commercial kitchen.
* Aged Care dietary experience (desirable).
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate – Health and Community Sector (essential).
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or National Certificate in Hospitality (desirable).
