As our long‐term, major operations and maintenance contract continues to grow, we are seeking several talented Electrical Maintenance Trades Technicians to join our team at Amberley RAAF Base – South East Queensland.
In this pivotal role, you will:
* Support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring Electrical Maintenance and Technical excellence and reliability.
* Contribute directly to the success of a program essential to national defence capability.
* Work alongside industry experts, Defence partners, and UGL's outstanding teams.
Role
Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at RAAF Amberley, supporting surrounding locations in the South East QLD region, with occasional regional travel. You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians. These duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Perform scheduled electrical maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment.
* Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment.
* Electrical Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment.
* Support subcontracted work packages as required.
* Support various sites in the region, with the occasional requirement to travel throughout South East QLD.
Rates
Maintenance Trades (Electrical) - Level 1 - $45.74 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance (50.40 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)
Level 2 - $49.34 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance (50.40 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)
Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $52.95 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance (50.40 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)
What you Need
You will be a strong team player, a self‐starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following:
* A-grade electrical licence with relevant post trade experience.
* Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) trained required.
* Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.
* Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded.
* Safety is at the forefront of everything you do!
* Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
