Overview
We're looking for a creative, detail‐oriented China Marketing Specialist to join our Sydney marketing team. In this role, you'll help grow Blueberry's presence across Chinese‐speaking markets by localising content, managing social media channels, and supporting campaigns that engage and convert audiences.
Working closely with Marketing, Design, Product, and Sales teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our brand resonates with Chinese‐speaking communities while maintaining consistency, quality, and performance across all touchpoints.
How You'll Make An Impact
* Translate and localise marketing content, short‐form videos, and campaign assets for Chinese platforms including Douyin, WeChat Official Account, WeChat Channels, and RedNote.
* Manage day‐to‐day social media publishing, community engagement, and moderation activities.
* Maintain content calendars and support the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
* Monitor content performance, engagement metrics, and campaign results, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Create content briefs, draft copy, and collaborate with designers to produce engaging marketing assets.
* Translate and quality‐check website content, landing pages, CRM communications, and other marketing materials.
* Support product launches, promotional campaigns, events, and brand initiatives.
* Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities within Chinese‐speaking audiences.
* Share insights and recommendations that help strengthen Blueberry's brand presence and marketing performance.
* Contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning within the marketing team.
Skills and Experiences
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
* Fluent in both Chinese and English, with exceptional written communication, translation, and localisation skills.
* Strong interest in digital marketing, financial markets, and emerging industry trends.
* Experience using Chinese social media platforms such as Douyin, WeChat, and RedNote.
* Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Detail‐oriented with a high standard of accuracy and quality.
* Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‐paced environment.
* Full Australian working rights and the ability to work onsite in Sydney.
Extra Points if You Have
* Demonstrated success growing audiences, engagement, leads, or conversions on Chinese social platforms.
* A portfolio showcasing content creation, localisation, or social media campaigns.
* Experience analysing marketing performance metrics such as CTR, CVR, CPA, or CPL.
* Experience running content experiments and optimising campaigns based on performance data.
* Previous experience in Financial Services, Fintech, FX, CFD, or other regulated industries.
* Familiarity with compliance requirements within financial services marketing.
