The Concordia Lutheran College Council is seeking to appoint a Principal who is an outstanding educator and visionary leader with the capacity to embrace and implement the College's vision and values while executing the strategic direction. The appointment will commence January 2027 unless otherwise negotiated.
Concordia Lutheran College offers a unique coeducational learning environment for Kindy to Year 12 students. The College offers a vibrant community that is inclusive, welcoming and friendly. Every student is seen as an individual with a special contribution to make.
The next Principal will embrace the history and culture of Concordia Lutheran College while leading change in a contemporary educational environment. The Principal is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the College, implementing the Strategic Plan in line with College Council priorities and undertaking the development and implementation of the College Master Plan.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day management of the College.
* Implement the Strategic Plan in line with College Council priorities.
* Develop and implement the College Master Plan.
* Champion the vision and values of the College in a contemporary educational environment.
Qualifications
* Active communicant member of the Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand (LCANZ).
* Significant and successful experience in teaching and educational administration.
* Capacity for Christian witnessing and servant leadership to further the nurturing of the Christian mission of the school and encourage and develop a caring community.
* Hold or be eligible for teacher registration in Queensland through the Queensland College of Teachers.
