About the Role
Emergency Communications Officers (Triple Zero Call-takers) receive and process all emergency and non-emergency triple zero calls from the public and other emergency service agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Answering calls and gathering essential information
* Providing accurate guidance and instructions to callers
* Maintaining composure and calm under pressure
* Entering data and coordinating with other emergency services
* Participating in comprehensive training and ongoing professional development
We provide fully paid training from day one, including a Certificate III in Public Safety (Emergency Communications Centre Operations) after consolidation.
