This opportunity sits within the Business Advisory & Virtual CFO division, working closely with a diverse portfolio of business clients. You will play a key role in delivering management accounting services, supporting financial decision-making, and partnering with clients to improve systems, processes and performance outcomes.
The Role
* Manage management accounting and bookkeeping services across a portfolio of SME business clients
* Review payroll, BAS, IAS, PAYGW, payroll tax and superannuation obligations
* Prepare and review monthly management reports, reconciliations and end‐of‐year processes
* Support clients with cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting and acquittals
* Assist with entity reporting including ACNC, audit and franchise reporting requirements
* Partner with clients to improve finance systems, processes and operational efficiency
* Respond to client queries and provide ongoing financial and advisory support
* Attend client sites as required to deliver hands‐on support and insight
* Mentor and support junior team members within the division
* Contribute to continuous improvement across service delivery and client outcomes
About You
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in management accounting, bookkeeping or business services roles
* Strong understanding of payroll, BAS, IAS and compliance requirements
* Experience preparing and reviewing management reports and reconciliations
* Exposure to SME clients across multiple industries
* Strong client communication and relationship management skills
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management ability
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
* Proactive, solutions‐focused and commercially minded approach
* Interest in Virtual CFO, advisory and client business improvement work
