The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and customer‐focused Recreation Attendant to join our team at the Kununurra Leisure Centre (KLC).
This role is responsible for supervising patrons across the aquatic, splash park and gym facilities to ensure a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all users.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring patron safety and behaviour.
* Providing first aid and emergency assistance when required.
* Delivering high‐quality customer service and providing information on facility rules, programs and services.
* Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and overall appearance of the leisure facilities, including pools, change rooms, grounds and surrounding areas, as well as supporting community events, children's programs and administrative tasks as required.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication and supervision skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, a commitment to workplace health and safety, and a customer‐focused approach to service delivery. Essential requirements include a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009) and a current WA Working with Children Check. Experience in aquatic facility operations, youth supervision and a current Bronze Medallion Certificate will be highly regarded.
