About the role
Join a AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our InfraBuild Recycling business. Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Hemmant site, you will be completing scrap metal and e-waste collections, as well as working alongside the staff in the yard. The team is highly safety focused, and process driven and will ensure that you are supported. The working hours are between 6 am 2 pm. Overtime opportunities available as and when required. Pay rate for this role is $ per hour and overtime is paid at overtime rates.
What you will be doing
* Pick up scrap metal bins
* Deliver to customers and back to the yard
* Operate heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
* Collaborate with the Transport Supervisor to complete deliveries across the region
* Loading the truck using overhead cranes
* Adhere to Australian rules and regulations regarding the operation of heavy vehicles
* Adhere to all WHS and Heavy Vehicle Transport regulations, policies and procedures

What you will bring
* Open HR truck licence is essential
* Road Ranger experience, desirable
* Champion a safe and efficient workplace
* High energy, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn
* Scrap recycling, Manufacturing, or Construction industry experience ideally
* Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
