Freight Coordinator – 12 Month Maternity Leave Cover
Link Logistics International is an international freight forwarding company that provides services to the business community on a global scale. We have expanded our business with purpose-built Freezers & Chiller warehouse facilities operating from Hobart Airport.
In recent times our business has experienced significant growth with a clear focus on providing service excellence for our valued customers.
We are seeking an individual that would enjoy working in a small team and can demonstrate flexibility and initiative in peak demand periods.
This role will encompass all facets of International Freight Forwarding, the successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team, working to facilitate our clients every need, communicating with teams both domestically and internationally to ensure the prompt and efficient movement of cargo.
Job Criteria
· Demonstrated experience in an office environment
· Effective communication skills
· Sound computer skills. A sound knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products.
· Strong attention to detail
· Compliance with HR polices & procedures
About you
· Previous experience in a freight environment would be advantageous
· A friendly nature and desire to work in a team environment
· Ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
· Have pride in your appearance and work place house keeping
· Current drivers license
· Current Police check or ability to obtain one.
