We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable part time Teacher Librarian (approximately 0.6FTE) to join our vibrant learning community at Carramar Campus in Term 1, 2026. In this role, you will enrich students' learning experiences by facilitating access to authentic print and digital resources and providing friendly, expert guidance in all library applications.

Selection Criteria (each point to be addressed):
Education & Qualifications
* Appropriate library qualifications which meet the requirements for registration with Australian School Library Association are essential
* Appropriate teaching qualifications and current registration with Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
* The Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking)
Skills & Experience
* Experience with the management of a library collection, which includes a library catalogue, online databases and curated resource guides
* Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and the course components across learning areas
* Minimum 2 years' classroom teaching and preferably library experience
* Demonstrated use of high impact teaching strategies to engage students in learning, particularly critical thinking skills
* Well-developed skills in the application of technology as a learning, teaching and management tool
* Knowledge of both Windows and Macintosh computer environments and experience of Library Management Systems
Other / General
* Flexibility in all aspects of the job and willingness to embrace change
* Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards and adhere to the school's policies and procedures regarding student safety, health and wellbeing.
* Experience in and a preparedness to contribute to the School's camping, retreat and extra-curricular programs
* Willingness to positively and actively contribute to the Christian culture of the School.
