• Mūrrūmba Targan Djimbulung (MTD) provides wrap-around health and well-being support to First Nations adults who live in West Moreton and experience chronic health issues, such as diabetes and ongoing heart and lung issues.
The name Mūrrūmba Targan Djimbulung (pronounced mood/oom/bah tah/gan jimba/lung) means 'good healing my people' in language gifted to the health service by the region's three Traditional Owner groups, the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul peoples..

About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high level of administration support and customer service to units within the Mūrrūmba Targan Djimbulung Service, including efficient utilisation of appointment times for Consultants and Clinicians.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Experience and demonstrated achievement in similar roles.
* Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities in a team environment to meet deadlines, and to be flexible in a changing work environment.
* Ability in the use of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant software packages (e.g. ieMR, Medi Records, ESM, HBCIS).
Mandatory Requirements:
* Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld) it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 (PDF) ( )
