Our client is a security services provider operating across Australia, supporting commercial, retail, events, transport, logistics, industrial and government clients.
About the opportunity
This role will lead and grow the WA operation, with accountability for security personnel, client relationships, operational performance, compliance, financial performance and business growth across the state.
In this role, you will:
* Retain and strengthen client relationships across the WA portfolio
* Grow the client base through referrals, networks and tenders
* Protect the brand through compliance, incident response and site presence
* Lead operational, client service, rostering and support teams
* Improve workforce utilisation, service delivery and margin performance
You will oversee site coverage, client service reviews, incident response, risk assessments, rostering, performance management, reporting, budgeting and tender submissions, while working alongside a professional leadership team to deliver strong operational outcomes. The role offers long-term scope to expand the WA portfolio, strengthen team capability and position yourself for broader leadership opportunities over the next three to five years.
About you
We are looking for a security industry leader who can manage clients, people, compliance and commercial outcomes while staying calm during incidents and escalations.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Experience in the security industry (essential)
* Experience in a senior operations or management role
* Experience managing teams across multiple sites
* A current WA security licence
* Knowledge of security legislation and licensing requirements
* Experience with client retention and service reviews
* Strong commercial acumen
* Tendering or business development experience
* A current driver\'s licence
* A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
You will have worked with outcomes linked to client retention, business growth, incident response, compliance, workforce performance and operational KPIs.
