Harrison Barratt Group is representing a Tier 2 commercial builder in Sydney and is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Contract Administrator to join their hard‐working team. The role reports to the Construction Manager and will work closely with project managers and site teams to support the successful delivery of future projects.
Projects
Typical project sizes range from $20 million to $110 million for new‐build commercial developments in education, government and aged‐care. The first project will likely be an education facility up to $50 million located in the Inner West or Western Sydney.
Key responsibilities
* Negotiating with subcontractors
* Processing invoices and chasing payment
* Managing subcontract variations
* Reviewing tender drawings
* Authorising letting packages
* Preparing Scope of Works documents
Skills & Experience
* Relevant construction degree or trade background
* At least 2.5 to 5 years' experience as a Contract Administrator
* Proficient in Jobpac and Microsoft Office
* Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and initiative
* Experience in commercial construction (desired)
