About us:
Our Clinic is located in the Wexford Medical Centre in Murdoch. We are seeking full time and part time medical receptionist/secretary for a fast-paced medical specialist practice.
We have a supportive team and our doctors are renowned for being friendly and pleasant to work with. No weekend work, onsite parking available, immediate start.
Role Responsibilities:
* Meeting and greeting patients;
* Answering the phone and taking messages and actioning them;
* Processing patient referrals and medical details, and booking appointments;
* Scanning documents, sending/faxing clinic letters and processing referrals;
* Processing payments/claims through EFTPOS and Genie;
* In-patient billing via Genie;
* End of day accounts reconciliation;
* End-to-end administrative support to ensure smooth running of the practice;
* Provide annual leave and sick leave cover for our other secretaries.
Successful Candidates:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist/Secretary in a specialist practice;
* Exceptional customer service, and strong written and communication skills both in-person and on the phone with a demonstrated empathetic nature;
* High level of professionalism and confidentiality while working with sensitive information;
* Ability to effectively multitask and prioritise;
* Time management and confidence to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally, whilst also being supportive within a team environment;
* Consistent meticulous attention to detail, and high level of accuracy;
* Good computer skills – Microsoft world, outlook; Typing not required;
* Experience in medical practice management software, preferably Genie.
