Salary: From $68,230 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation + appropriate shift allowances

We currently have multiple opportunities for suitably experienced Plant Operator & Multi‐Skilled Workers to join our Depot services team in Maroubra.
Responsibilities
* Drive and operate a range of Council vehicles and plant, including compactor trucks, utility vehicles, mechanical road and footpath sweepers, and associated city cleansing equipment.
* Perform duties with minimal supervision, while also being able to work in a team environment.
* Perform all activities in accordance with Council's Safe Work Method Statements.
* Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and Council policy requirements and standards in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity; Work, Health and Safety and Rehabilitation; and environmental protection.
* Exercise all delegated responsibilities in a diligent manner.
Qualifications & Skills
* Demonstrated experience in working in a team.
* Class HR or MR driver's licence or relevant other certified qualifications.
* A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
* Experience in dealing with members of the public.
* An ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
* A willingness to comply with all Council's policies and procedures.
Shift Patterns
* #733 – 3x Permanent Part‐Time positions (56 hours per fortnight)
o 2 positions – Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00am – 1:30pm (includes every alternate Wednesday off; alternate week is Sunday to Tuesday only).
o 1 position – Wednesday to Saturday, 5:00am – 1:30pm (includes every alternate Wednesday off; alternate week is Thursday to Saturday only).
* #742 – 1 Permanent Full‐Time position (76 hours per fortnight)
o Sunday to Wednesday, 4:00am – 2:00pm (Replacing Greg Jarvis‐McCann).
* #747 – 1 Permanent Part‐Time position (56 hours per fortnight)
o Wednesday to Saturday, 12:30pm – 10:00pm (Summer) and 10:00am – 6:30pm (Winter) (includes every alternate Wednesday off; alternate week is Thursday to Saturday only).
