Job Title: Project Engineer - High-Rise Residential
Location: Gold Coast, QLD
About the Company
Our client is a well-respected Tier 1/2 builder/developer delivering landmark projects across the Gold Coast and beyond. With an impressive pipeline of high-rise residential developments, they are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a major project (Double Tower).
About the Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team, you will play a key role in coordinating structural, façade and services packages to ensure programme, quality and cost objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate structural, façade and services packages to ensure programme targets are met
* Manage subcontractors across multiple levels and work fronts
* Oversee structural works including post-tension slabs, core construction and concrete pours
* Monitor critical path activities and assist with look-ahead planning
* Implement and manage quality systems including ITPs and inspections
* Support procurement, contract administration and variation management
* Assist with cost control, forecasting and progress reporting
* Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
* Liaise with consultants to resolve technical queries and buildability challenges
About You
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
* 3+ years' experience as a Project Engineer on high-rise residential or mixed-use projects
* Strong understanding of structural sequencing in multi-storey builds
* Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme outcomes
* Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
