The Company
HE Silos is a local family business, proudly Australian made and owned.
For over 50 years they have been designing and manufacturing a custom range of grain storage products at their Forbes factories.
Leaders in the field, their products include silos, field bins and animal feeders made to the highest quality to ensure longevity.
Safety focussed, products come with the latest innovative features installed (award winning fumigation feature).
Recent acquisition includes a grain drying and manufacturing business.
Situated in the prime agricultural crop growing regions of NSW, HE Silos care dearly for their local communities by employing local people, sourcing local materials and sponsoring several sporting and school events.
The Position
Due to an internal career move, a vacancy exists for a Sales Consultant to join the Forbes team and be "the heart of the business".
This key role requires you to: focus on sales and customers, partner with stakeholders, manage the business inventory levels and support all manufacturing activities.
Reporting to the General Manager, this fulltime role covers a large geographical area of NSW.
Responsibilities include:
engaging with and taking orders from customers
generating leads and increasing sales
managing the database
coordinating marketing materials and price lists
liaising with logistics and production teams regarding inventory
Primarily office bound, however part of the role is out in the field representing the company at field days and industry events.
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes/ experience:
high level communication skills, able to create strong relationships
5 years sales experience in a rural environment
analytical mindset, detail oriented
competency with CRM, ERP and suite of Microsoft software
grain industry, agronomy or agricultural equipment background
Customer focused and commercially minded, your induction includes extensive training to familiarise yourself with the products and systems and to allow you to reach your full potential the business values and invests in educational, financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits and programs.
The company offer an easy going, family focused culture, and a role that offers flexibility with your family life.
Your background might be off a farm, have been to uni and want to get back to working in the country, ideally with a passion about grain/ agronomy.
Alternatively, you might be a highly experienced salesperson, wanting to get into the grain storage sector.
This is a great role if you want to be regionally based, part of a family team, in a rural sales role with minimal travel.
