He is based in Brisbane and leads our regional Data & AI practice. He is known for a collaborative, empowering leadership style – providing clear strategic direction while giving architects the autonomy to own client outcomes and shape solution offerings.As a Data Architect, you will be a key technical leader in our Data & AI practice, working closely with clients to assess their current environments and design modern data and AI solutions that align to their strategic objectives. When you bring your hunger, heart, and harmony to Insight, your potential will be met with continuous opportunities to upskill, earn promotions, and elevate your career.What we're looking forProven consulting Data Architect with 8+ years' experience architecting, designing and implementing advanced technical solutions, ideally within a professional services environment.Hands-on expertise in the Microsoft data stack, including Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Fabric, plus strong Python skills and experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.Practical AI delivery experience, including Azure OpenAI integration and deployment, familiarity with GPT models and prompt engineering on Azure, and experience building or designing multi-agent systems; dbt experience is highly desirable.Strong communicator and leader, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and architectures, and a track record of mentoring others and influencing senior stakeholders.We also value: a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, at least two relevant Microsoft certifications, and exposure to TOGAF, ITIL and Agile methodologies.What you can expectWe're legendary for taking care of you, your family and for helping you engage with your local community.
