The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for Agi Drivers and Concrete Boom Pump Operators on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project works a 14:7 roster with 12‐hour shifts that may include day and night rotating duties.
The successful candidate will have 2 years' experience operating:
* Agi concrete trucks
* Concrete boom pumps
Required tickets and licences:
* HR driver's licence – minimum for Agi trucks
* HRW PB Ticket
* MC licence – highly regarded
* Dangerous goods endorsement – highly regarded
* Basic fatigue management certificate
* Chain of responsibility experience – highly regarded
* Clean driving record
* General construction induction training (white card)
* Right to work in Australia
* Medical and criminal history check – must pass
* Telehandler endorsement – highly regarded
* High risk work licence (LF) – highly regarded
These positions are in remote regions with extreme cold temperatures; the applicant must be prepared for these working conditions.
