Overview

$160,000 – $195,000 per year + commission

(Business Development & Market Growth)

We are seeking a senior Domain Sales Lead – Intelligent Water & Utilities to own and drive growth across Australia and New Zealand.

This is not a traditional sales role.

This is a domain leadership position focused on market expansion, strategic growth, and shaping how N3Edge engages the water and utilities sector. The role combines business development accountability with domain ownership, guiding where we play, how we position, and how we win.

We are scaling quickly and are looking for someone who wants to lead that growth from the front.

About Us

N3Edge (Nucleus3 Group) operates at the intersection of digital water, IoT, and data‐driven utilities. We partner with councils, utilities, and technology providers to deliver end‐to‐end solutions across smart metering, data platforms, and intelligent water networks.

We have established a strong foundation in Australia, with proven customers, delivery capability, and trusted partnerships.

Our next phase is clear: scale, expand, and lead new markets through defined industry domains.

The Opportunity

We have a solid and growing customer base, supported by a dedicated Customer Success function focused on value realisation and retention.

What we are deliberately building now is domain-led growth.

This role exists for one purpose: to accelerate growth in the Intelligent Water & Utilities domain and win new customers.

As Domain Lead, you are accountable for shaping and executing growth across the domain, from market positioning through to new customer acquisition to sustainable outcomes.

What You Will Do

As Domain Sales Lead – Intelligent Water & Utilities, you will:

Own growth across the Intelligent Water & Utilities domain in AU and NZ

Drive greenfield opportunity creation and market expansion

Open doors and create opportunities where none currently exist

Engage directly with utilities, councils, and partners at executive and senior leadership levels

Work closely with the executive team to influence strategy, partnerships, and investment priorities

This is not a passive pipeline role.

You will be expected to create momentum, lead conversations, and convert and influence opportunity into ongoing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new customers, markets, and strategic opportunities

Lead early engagement through opportunity shaping, commercial framing, and close

Define and execute targeted go‐to‐market strategies for the Intelligent Water domain

Build trusted, long‐term relationships across utilities, councils, and industry partners

Strengthen and activate strategic partnerships, including Itron and regional partners

Represent N3Edge as a domain leader at industry events, forums, and executive discussions

What We're Looking For

Proven experience leading business development or strategic growth in water, utilities, IoT, or infrastructure

A strong industry network with the ability to open doors at pace

Well connected and established relationships with industry

Demonstrated success driving greenfield growth and market expansion

Credibility and confidence operating at executive, board, and partner level

A mindset focused on outcomes and strategic thought leadership, not activity

This is a senior, high‐impact role, suited to someone who wants ownership, influence, and accountability — not a step‐up sales role.
