Support Aboriginal families with holistic, culturally responsive dietetic care in Tamworth, helping close the gap for children aged 0–8 years.
This is a Temporary Part Time role (20 hours per week) with a classification of Dietitian Level 1/2.
Responsibilities
Provide flexible, holistic, and culturally responsive health services to Aboriginal families with children aged 0–8 years
Work within the New Directions multidisciplinary team (Aboriginal Health Workers/Practitioners, Social Workers, and Dietitians) to facilitate positive connections between community and health services
Foster partnerships with the Closing the Gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community members
Qualifications
Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics
Eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia
Requirements
Australian citizen or permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows work in Australia; temporary visa holders only as allowed by visa conditions
Eligible list may be created for future temporary part-time vacancies
