Yard & Logistics Supervisor | Full Time | Geraldton WA
RDH are seeking an organised and proactive Yard and Logistics Supervisor to take charge and oversee the movement, dispatch and return of equipment and materials for our busy civil and mining projects.
Based in our Geraldton yard, with some ad‐hoc travel to project sites, you will play a pivotal role as the conduit between Operations, Project Managers and Site Supervisors, ensuring all ancillaries, tools and site consumables are prepared, delivered, and returned efficiently. This role suits someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. You will also provide leadership and direction to Yard Hands, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Full Time: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 5:00 pm – occasional Saturdays, depending on business needs.
Location: Geraldton WA (this is not a FIFO or relocation opportunity).
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily yard operations, including loading, dispatch and return of equipment and materials
* Plan and manage equipment mobilisation and demobilisation schedules in collaboration with the Operations Manager and project teams
* Maintain accurate tracking of all equipment movements to and from site
* Inspect and document equipment condition upon return
* Ensure all equipment and gear is site‐ready, compliant, and delivered on schedule
* Lead and support Yard Hands to maintain operational standards and safety
About You
* Previous experience in yard, logistics, or site coordination (civil construction, mining or haulage background highly regarded)
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills with a proactive, hands‐on approach
* Confident using basic computer systems for tracking and reporting
* Ability to safely assist with yard duties, including loading and handling of materials
* Forklift ticket and HR licence preferred
* Reliable, safety‐conscious and committed to supporting operational efficiency
