What you'll be doing
* Deliver quality service – tear down, inspection and assembly of CATERPILLAR engines and components.
* Follow the right procedures – research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.
* Do it once, do it right – take every step to ensure workmanship is fault‐free, ensuring quality in the finished product and avoiding any rework.
* Work to schedule – complete assigned tasks within required timeframes while maintaining safety and quality.
* Keep customers informed – involve customers in major repair decisions and provide clear updates on job progress.
* Be safe – ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in the industry, workshop environment or in a similar role.
* Strong communicator – excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.
* Exposure to Components – previous experience on CAT machinery & CAT component desirable.
* Organised and efficient – strong time‐management skills to keep jobs on track.
* Team player – able to work well with others as well as independently when required.
* Safety minded – committed to maintaining high workplace health and safety standards at all times.

We have more than 3,500 employees across 23 business service centres throughout Queensland, Northern Territory, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and New Caledonia, with our headquarters based in Brisbane, Australia. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, based in Toowoomba.
