Do you love to fish? Fishability is looking for volunteers who love fishing and who enjoy helping others to develop independence and experience the excitement of catching a fish.
Experience with fishing is not necessary, but all volunteers must have a positive and empathetic nature.

Uniforms and all equipment will be issued following a period of volunteering. Would suit patient person who loves the outdoors and team work.
Fishability (Fishers with Disabilities) is a not‐for‐profit association that delivers programs and activities designed to increase the active involvement of people requiring support with recreational fishing.
Fishability has, since 2000 provided fishing opportunities for Western Australians living with challenges.
Fishability promotes fishing as a means of acceptance and inclusion.
Currently fishing is a Tuesday afternoon for a few hours from the deck in Geographe Marina.

The program will run on a weekly basis for 2 hours each activity on a Tuesday (in summer on Fridays also). With the support from a team of volunteers, and with the use of modified rods, reels and vessel, we cater for children and adults living in our communities with disabilities, offering fishing experiences in a safe and welcoming environment. The program is delivered almost year round with regular jetty and boat schedules.
