We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to support our Fixed Wing operations, Airnorth services, and freight activities in Katherine. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys aviation operations, working with people, and keeping everything running safely and efficiently.
About the Role
You will coordinate day-to-day ground handling activities, passenger movements, freight processing, and operational support. You will work closely with pilots, clients, engineering staff, and external partners such as Airnorth and Qantas Freight.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate safe, timely aircraft arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth ground handling operations.
* Oversee passenger check-in, boarding, and disembarkation with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
* Receive, process, and manage Qantas Freight shipments in line with established procedures.
* Liaise with Airnorth and Qantas Freight representatives to ensure compliance and clear communication.
* Complete and distribute required operational and flight-related documentation.
* Maintain Airnorth-related invoicing spreadsheets and assist with KPI/SOP compliance.
* Manage flight bookings, update operational calendars, and support pilot rostering.
* Work closely with Engineering to coordinate aircraft maintenance scheduling.
* Assist with operational administration, reporting, and preparation of quotations/tenders.
