Job Title: Network Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex networks.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network endpoint connectivity under telecoms. This includes driving LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi transformation along with cyber and other telecom platforms. Additionally, the role entails areas such as execution of production support, creating knowledge bases, and producing relevant data for trending and analysis purposes.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing and implementing global access networks, including international MPLS backbones and overlay SD-WAN
* Managing virtual office connectivity and ensuring seamless communication between different teams and locations
* Providing technical guidance to project teams and serving as a subject matter expert for technology and process improvements
* Collaborating with group telecom teams, team leaders, and managers to understand scope, format, and expectations
* Assisting in identifying service delivery issues, post-implementation issues, escalations, and driving timely resolution
* Mitigating and recording risks to ensure minimal impact on project deliveries
* Ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all solutions delivered
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* 8+ years of experience in the network domain
* Hands-on experience working on LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi technologies
* Working experience on cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and automation tools like Ansible/Python
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders and external vendors
* Strong team player who can work under pressure, independently, and proactively
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Industry-standard certifications in the technology area of work would be preferred
