Description
The Registrar is responsible for the day to day management of private & public inpatients/outpatients and provides afterhours emergency cover at the hospital. This position is suitable for Basic Physician trainees, GP Registrars and as a non-core term for Advanced Trainees in Rehabilitation or Emergency Medicine and is distinct from the Advanced Trainee in Geriatric Medicine position.
The aged care department has an establishment of 9 FTE registrar positions which includes up to 4 advanced trainees in geriatrics, with the remainder being registrars in Geriatric Medicine.
$138,978 - $194,675 per annum Salary range is in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Agreement 2025
Period of Employment:
Fixed term, full time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight (+10 hours protected training time per fortnight, pro rata), starting from 1 February 2027 until 7 February 2028. (Part time hours may be considered).
