Job Summary
Our organization seeks an experienced ETL Developer/ Data Engineer to lead our data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and optimizing ETL processes, as well as experience working with large datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into our data warehouse.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
* Analyze and resolve ETL production incidents in a timely manner.
* Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support business intelligence reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least five (5) years of experience working as an ETL Developer/Data Engineer.
* Proven experience in development and solution design in an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform.
* Strong understanding of ETL standards, security, and governance in a large enterprise-wide environment.
* Demonstrated experience with the analysis/design phase of a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Development and administration across an EDW platform.
* Scripting tools (Perl, SQL, UNIX Shell).
* Data science tools including Python.
