Assistant Principal – Moruya Public School
Our inclusive school community with 325 students provides a well‐rounded education that nurtures academic, creative, social, emotional and physical growth. We set high expectations to develop lifelong learners ready for future success. Teachers use evidence‐based, explicit teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and promote measurable progress. The school honours our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through meaningful cultural education, including dhurga language learning and strengthening connection to Country. Three special education classes offer individualised programs for students with additional learning needs. High Potential and Gifted students benefit from specialised literacy and numeracy enrichment, as well as sporting and performing arts opportunities. All students from years 2 to 6 participate in the Kitchen Garden program. Our active P&C and strong community involvement create a collaborative environment where families, staff and students work together to achieve shared educational goals.
