The Role
The client services team is the first point of contact for pet owners. The role is a full‐time, 1‐person position that will cover a 24‐hour roster with shifts from 7 am to 10 pm, including some weekends. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, facilitating communication, managing financial transactions, handling insurance claims, and scheduling appointments.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming and assisting clients while managing the flow of the waiting area
* Facilitating communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and the clinical team
* Handling financial transactions and client payments
* Managing pet medical insurance claims
* Scheduling and coordinating appointments (referral and emergency) in person and over the phone
About You
* Outgoing, dynamic, and thrives in a fast‐paced environment
* Confident communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills
* Collaborative, adaptable, and able to problem‐solve on the go
* Professional in presentation and sensitive in communication style
Preferred Background
* Strong preference for candidates with a veterinary, nursing, or medical/healthcare background
* Previous experience in a busy reception role (minimum 3 years)
* Experience with EzyVet software (highly desirable but not essential)
