Professional Standards Officer (Permanent and Fixed‐Term)
Engineers Australia is looking for two experienced professionals to join our Professional Standards and Engineering Practice team. These roles support the operational delivery of accreditation and registration processes and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth, high‐quality service.
Base Pay Range
A$65,000.00/yr – A$70,000.00/yr
Location
Canberra (preferred) – hybrid working arrangements available.
In this role you will:
* Coordinate and manage operational activities supporting accreditation and/or registration processes.
* Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, panels and stakeholder engagement activities.
* Assist in reviewing and improving policies, procedures and documentation to enhance efficiency.
* Respond to member and stakeholder enquiries, ensuring clear, timely and accurate communication.
* Contribute to cross‐functional projects and initiatives that strengthen the Professional Standards and Engineering Practice function.

* Excellent attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with a range of digital systems.
* A proactive, collaborative and improvement‐focused mindset.
