This is a permanent part‐time (0.8 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026.
Edgewater is an independent public school in the City of Joondalup, situated in an established bushland setting with mature trees, gardens and grassed areas throughout the site. The school focuses on literacy and numeracy skills in a caring environment and a strong pastoral care strategy.
The Role
Join our team as a Gardener – Handyperson and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy and conducive to a positive environment for both students and staff. Your responsibilities include overseeing turf areas, garden beds and shrubs, managing hard landscaping features such as courts and paving, and performing minor maintenance/repair tasks in accordance with Department of Education policies.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives when working independently and enjoys maintaining and improving outdoor and indoor spaces. The successful applicant should be proactive, competent, well‐organised, self‐motivated, reliable and able to build strong working relationships with staff and external contractors.
