About this role
Senior Associate – audit team on a 3‐month fixed‐term contract, commencing mid‐July through to mid‐October. Ideal for a Working Holiday Visa holder to build Australian experience.
Key responsibilities
* Drive independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations, not‐for‐profit entities and government bodies' financial reports.
* Create complete and accurate audit work papers.
* Identify and report on client financial risks.
* Examine clients' financial statements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Investigate difficult technical and application issues to improve client outcomes.
Skills & experience
* Experience in an audit and assurance environment with sound knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
* Full qualification CA/CPA or other relevant overseas qualification.
* Exceptional client relationship and communication skills.
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and team members in a fast‐paced environment to meet deadlines.
* Forward‐thinking approach to drive innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, decision‐making and team member experience.
